Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies), rapper Bow Wow, Evan Ross (Pride, ATL), Max Thierot (Kit Kittredge: An American Girl), and Gabrielle Anwar (The Tudors) are starring in the indie black comedy Driving Lessons. Selma Blair is also in negotiations for a role. Thieriot will play the religious, right-wing teenage son of Bunnie (Hope Davis), a woman who gets a chance to fix her unhappy marriage to Jack (Dermot Mulroney) after she loses her memory and forgets about her affair with her neighbor Simon (McBride). Blair is in talks to play a high school teacher having an affair with a female student (Madeline Zima), Anwar will play Jack’s sexy coworker, and Brittany Robertson is playing Jack’s sexually adventurous daughter. Ross is cast as Simon’s son, and Bow Wow and Jermaine Williams will play wannabe thugs. The project marks the directorial debut of commercials director Vivi Friedman.
