You know we here at PopWatch love us some Dolly, so it pains us to report that Parton has been forced to postpone her upcoming U.S. tour, in support of her new album Backwood Barbie (due Feb. 26), because of a back ailment. According to a press release, doctors advised the singer to rest for six to eight weeks, which means dates will likely be rescheduled for late April through May. In a statement that confirms why we still adore her after all these years, Parton wrote:

I know I have been breaking my neck and bending over backwards trying to get my new Backwoods Barbie CD and world tour together, but I didn’t mean to hurt myself doing it! But hey, you try wagging these puppies around a while and see if you don’t have back problems. Seriously though, the doctors said I will be good as new in a few weeks, and I can’t wait to get back out there.
See you soon,

Who will be seeing her when she’s on the road again?
