(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) ? A book of original fairytales handwritten and illustrated by J.K. Rowling sold for about $4 million to London art agent Hazlitt, Gooden and Fox at an auction on Thursday (Dec. 13). The agent now has one of seven copies of Rowling’s The Tales of Beedle the Bard, which is leather bound with silver mounts. The money will benefit The Children’s Voice, a charity co-founded by Rowling and Baroness Nicholson that campaigns for children’s rights across Europe. The other six copies were given to people closely connected to the Harry Potter collection, Rowling said. ( Hollywood Reporter)
