Bravo has greenlit second seasons of its reality competitions series Shear Genius and Top Design. Reveille’s Shear features hairstylists competing for a $100,000 prize. Jaclyn Smith will return as host for the second season. Magical Elves been tapped to produce the second edition of Design, which Bravo says will get somewhat of a makeover next season. The show features interior designers, artists, and architects competing for a $100,000 prize. Magical Elves is behind Bravo’s Top Chef and Project Runway as well as the upcoming Step It Up & Dance. It is not yet known whether host Todd Oldham or judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell, and Kelly Wearstler will return. The second seasons of Design and Genius will debut next year. Bravo did not say how many episodes of either has ordered but announced that casting will begin in the next few weeks. (Hollywood Reporter)
