Keri Russell (Waitress, the WB’s Felicity) will play the female lead in Disney’s upcoming Adam Sandler comedy Bedtime Stories. The story is about a real estate developer who freaks out when he realizes that the elaborate bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew become real. Russell will play a love interest for Sandler’s character. Director Adam Shankman (Hairspray) is helming from a Matt Lopez script. Shooting is scheduled to start in February for a holiday season 2008 release. Russell is currently in theaters for August Rush, and she recently finished shooting The Girl in the Park alongside Sigourney Weaver, Kate Bosworth, and Alessandro Nivola. (Variety)
