A ”House” co-star competition

The titular tyrant of House has narrowed his search for new associates to six. Ignoring spoilers — and shoo-in Ken Penn (who dares cut Kumar?) — we rate the finalists’ odds, from most likely to least likely to survive.

Jeffrey Cole (Edi Gathegi)
Devout Mormon = irresistible punching bag for the cynical House. When Cole punched back, House dug him even more. Also: big brain; cool ‘fro.

”Thirteen” (Olivia Wilde)
Coy, unnamed cutie undermined her own diagnosis by not making sure her worms patient swallowed his pills. Whatever. She’s hot, and this is TV!

Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson)
Cosmetic surgeon has a limited skill set. But nosy House wants to know why he quit nip/tucking, and won’t let him leave until he figures it out.

Travis Brennan (Andy Comeau)
Has savvy instincts, but needs to distinguish himself. His Doctors Without Borders experience won’t impress his do-gooder-phobic boss.

Amber Volakis (Anne Dudek)
Tried to undermine ”Thirteen” by preying on her guilt over the worm patient’s death. As House’s nasty female twin, she’s fun…and redundant.
