The biggest primetime TV showdown of the new season begins tonight at 9 p.m. So say the networks’ early tracking polls, which suggest that Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Private Practice (ABC), Hell’s Kitchen spinoff Kitchen Nightmares (Fox), and the remake of Bionic Woman (NBC) are three of the most anticipated new series. Nightmares debuted last week with okay ratings, but tonight it faces off against the premieres of Private and Bionic (pictured, with star Michelle Ryan). (And, yes, this very match-up was featured in one of our recent “Steel Cage” contests.) So, show of hands: which of these series will you be watching when it airs tonight? Which will you record and save for later? Which will you skip altogether?
