Underground Kingz

The duo that bolstered Jay-Z’s ”Big Pimpin”’ has charisma to spare — even on this 29-track double disc (Underground Kingz), which features superstars (T.I.), living legends (Scarface), and surprises (Dizzee Rascal). True, it’s OutKast’s lyricism and Three 6 Mafia’s soulful sampling that make ”Int’l Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)” a possible Song of the Year — but eight albums over two decades are no fluke. On the raunchy ”Like That” and the funk-driven ”The Game Belongs to Me,” UGK show enough swagger to rightfully claim their throne. B+
