+ Jennifer Aniston could soon be dancing the cell-block tango. She is set to produce and possibly star in Goree Girls, a period musical based on the true tale of a group of gals who launched a hit country & western act while in a Texas jail in the 1940s.

+ Ocean’s Thirteen producer Jerry Weintraub is ”working on a whole bunch of things,” including an untitled comedy about lacrosse, and Westworld, reportedly a sci-fi remake about a futuristic theme park, to be helmed by Tarsem Singh, ”the guy who directed The Cell. That one is going to be very cool and very visual,” promises Weintraub.

+ Warner Bros. has yet to make an announcement, but Brandon Routh is getting ready for his Supes sequel. ”As far as I know it is going to be called Superman: Man of Steel…I was told we should start filming early next year,” he says. (It’s not clear whether director Bryan Singer will return.) ”I have to get back to the gym. I’ve let myself go.” — Additional reporting by Carrie Bell
