This CD from Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello (aka The Nightwatchman) finds the guitarist going acoustic — either to prove just how much he hates machinery or, more likely, to better channel Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. Both are influences on One Man Revolution, and the latter is referenced on ”Maximum Firepower.” Elsewhere Morello tackles 9/11 (”No One Left”) and the ”lies” of Colin Powell (”House Gone Up in Flames”). But a combination of his rich vocals and hook-filled tunes ensures that the heartfelt result rarely seems like a harangue.
