We gave it a B

James Morrison is a handsome U.K. troubadour who seems to have never met a girl he didn’t want to write a love song about. As such, he is easily bracketed with James Blunt and can claim a Blunt-esque level of success in his homeland, where this debut has shifted more than a million copies. But Undiscovered reveals him to be much more soulful than his compatriot; he’s a husky, impressive presence on such nicely funk-tinged tracks as ”You Give Me Something,” ”The Letter,” and the naggingly catchy, brass-assisted ”Wonderful World.”
