Milos Forman thinks 18th-century painter Francisco Goya is a ”totally amazing artist.” And even though the 75-year-old director isn’t keen on giving out details prematurely (”If you reveal the plot, you ruin the entertainment”), here’s what we do know: This is not a biopic, work by the artist (Stellan Skarsgârd) is the backdrop for a larger message, and his muse is played by Natalie Portman. ”Goya was the most courageous coward because all of his courage is in his paintings,” says Forman. ”What can I say? It’s not a feel-good film, but a think-good film.” And we think we feel good about that. (July 20)
