The former New Kid, 37, has resurfaced — yet again — on The CW’s Runaway (Sundays, 9 p.m.) as a man accused of murder who must flee his past. We asked him to do just the opposite.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK 1984-94 ” We weren’t the most talented musicians in the world, but we weren’t Milli Vanilli.”

MARKY MARK AND THE FUNKY BUNCH 1990-92 ”The second phase of my career was as a producer. I needed something to keep my brother [Mark] out of trouble.”

‘RANSOM’ 1996 (Cubby Barnes) ” Mel Gibson was up for an Oscar [for Braveheart]. Ron Howard got snubbed for Apollo 13. So it was a little awkward [on the set].”

‘THE SIXTH SENSE’ 1999 (Vincent Grey) ”I had asked Night [Shyamalan] if I could produce a version as a play, and [he suggested I] play a role in the movie. I loved that script so much, I cried when I got the part.”

‘BAND OF BROTHERS’ 2001 (Carwood Lipton) ”I was like, ‘Okay, Hanks does Apollo 13, then From the Earth to the Moon; he does Private Ryan, and now this war thing. Eh.’ Then I met Tom and realized how wrong I was. I would never question that guy again.”

‘SAW II’ 2005 (Eric Matthews) ”I had to let go, just say, ‘This is a horror movie, get over it. You’re not gonna win an Oscar for this.”’

‘RUNAWAY’ 2006 (Paul Rader) ”I’ve made this character part of my life. The biggest challenge is the limitations of what I can express every week. I want to say so much more than could ever be on the page.”
