Heather Locklear is set to star in a Lifetime adaptation of Nora Roberts‘ romantic thriller Angels Fall. This is mixed news for EW. If I may be so bold as to speak for the writers who contribute to our What to Watch section: HOLLA! And for those of us who also like Locklear: Wait, is this the best move for her?

You could argue that after The Perfect Man, a tabloid-friendly divorce, and sightings with David Spade, the woman has nothing to lose. And you would be right. At least this way she knows her peformance — as a chef who relocates from Boston to Wyoming after her restaurant is riddled with bullets, leaving her the only survivor — will make it to air. That’s a payoff she doesn’t get each time she does a TV pilot (or even if that pilot goes to series). Is a Lifetime movie the best career move? Will you tune in when Angels Fall raises its head in February?
