Are you ready? Have you cleared plenty of space in your TiVo? Is your remote-clicking thumb fully exercised and limber? Fall TV premiere week — and the 2006-07 TV season — begins in earnest tonight with no fewer than eight season premieres and debuts of new series. At 8, there’s NBC’s Deal or No Deal, ABC’s Wife Swap, and CBS’ new comedy The Class. CBS follows that one with the season premieres of How I Met Your Mother (8:30), Two and a Half Men (9), The New Adventures of Old Christine (9:30), and CSI: Miami (10). Also at 10 is the series premiere of NBC’s drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (starring Amanda Peet, Steven Weber, and Matthew Perry, pictured).

Can you handle this much new TV? Will you ever leave your couch? And which of the new Monday shows will you watch as they air, record to watch later, and ignore completely?
