He’s baaaack! Okay, so he never went away, but these days it seems that Diddy is everywhere — pimping Danity Kane, the cheesy quintet he assembled on MTV’s Making the Band 3, and promoting his own fourth solo disc, Press Play, out Oct. 17. But despite helping DK’s self-titled debut CD bow at No. 1, the St. Tropez mascot’s new single, ”Come to Me,” featuring Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls, hasn’t cracked Billboard’s Hot 100 as of press time. That may have something to do with the herky-jerk dance moves he busts in the video. Or maybe it’s Diddy fatigue: His daily MySpace diary documents everything he does, from eating breakfast to taking a tinkle. (Actual footage available!) And yet, when we really wanted to hear from him — at the MTV VMAs last week — he had the nerve to snub correspondent John Norris, bringing along a spokesman to speak on his behalf. To be fair, however, Norris’ coiffure left us speechless, too.
