+ Forest Whitaker joins Dennis Quaid and Lost‘s Matthew Fox in the Rashomon-style thriller Vantage Point. Says Whitaker: ”I play a man who goes to Spain to figure out what [went] wrong with his marriage” — but winds up entangled in a conspiracy.

+ In the dark comedy Sex and Death 101, Simon Baker (The Devil Wears Prada) stars as a man given a list of every woman he’ll ever sleep with. Possibly on that list: Winona Ryder‘s femme-fatale character. Daniel Waters, who penned Ryder’s 1989 cult hit Heathers and also wrote Sex and Death, will direct.
