We didn't forget! Elliott's video quiz

They say that pride goeth before a fall, and, boy, did I learn that the hard way this afternoon. Only a few days ago I promised all of you that I’d nail People.com’s Elliott Yamin video quiz, and for two questions anyway, it looked like I was totally on target. Elliott’s dream duet partner? Too easy. Favorite snack food? A breeze, yo. But then, like Superman taking a bite of a peanut butter-and-Kryptonite sandwich, I faltered on E-Double’s coveted superpower question, and again on the subject of Elliott’s first album purchase. (Who knew?)

Not surprisingly, my 3-out-of-5 score has sent me down the shame spiral, with only one hope of recovery. So if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take a page from today’s Starting Over, climb inside a giant refrigerator box and, using a collection of black and red Sharpies, “draw my feelings” on the walls of my cardboard prison:

• ”Who am I?”
• ”Am I a good person?”
• ”I’m afraid to feel my feelings.”
• ”Funyuns.”
• ”Brenna Gethers.”
• ”Why?”

Once I’ve looked my demons in the eyes, I’m going to tear down those walls, and listen to ”A Song For You.”
