Siblings Emmy and Josh Everett both suffer from the quintessential problem of modern twentysomethings: paralysis from indecision. After dumping a fiancé on a road trip, Emmy stayed in the small Rhode Island town where she left him, got a job in a tackle shop, and started shooting an interminable documentary about fishermen’s wives who (metaphor alert!) spend their lives waiting for their husbands to come home. Meanwhile, Josh juggles the stress of an impending wedding — and the other woman he’s in love with. The relatable storyline ends just as it should, but a little too much so. Though Emmy and Josh might disagree, we think they could’ve handled a few more curveballs.
