Steve Carrell tells us about his lucky charm

”When I played goalie in high school, I wore the same yellow socks for every game — and we won every game,” the star of The Office and Over the Hedge recalls of his favorite hockey hosiery. ”They became so skanky and full of holes that they wouldn’t stay on my feet, so I put them somewhere in my uniform, like under my pads. [Now] they’ve disappeared into the ether of sockdom.”
