'Comeback' on DVD: Get the smelling salts for Slezak!

And now the news the world comedy fans 14 people (myself included) have been breathlessly anticipating for, like, ever: Lisa Kudrow’s criminally underappreciated HBO sitcom The Comeback is coming to DVD on Aug. 1, apparently with commentary on 6 of the 13 episodes, plus footage of Valerie Cherish backstage at Dancing With the Stars (I may slip into a bliss-fueled coma if our gal kicks it with Carrie Ann Inaba!). Let’s not even pretend I’m going to be able to resist tweaking my favorite Aunt Sassy catchphrase to celebrate the announcement. All together now: Note to self, I need to see that!
