A new 'Idol' ditty: Ace Young rocks you!
Poor Brian May! The Queen guitarist served as this week’s guest vocal coach on American Idol, but says the segment showing him rehearsing with contestant Ace Young ”was edited in such a way that it looked as if I was purely negative — they very naughtily inserted a bit that I said about ‘not on my own song’ so it appeared that I said it AFTER we had played together, which was not the way it happened…making me look like I was against the whole thing.” Inspired by May’s plight, PopWatch reworked one of Queen’s beloved hits, ”We Will Rock You,” as a foot-stomping testament to The Truth. Look for it on the Billboard charts later this spring.
