On a clear day, you can tour forever. The chances of Barbra Streisand retiring seem increasingly slim, as she launches into yet another farewell tour. (Which I am optimistically titling The No Tagbacks, No Do-overs, This Is Really It Tour. I will be scalping $35,000 tickets outside.) Babsie, please: Don’t let it get to the point where “Being Alive” starts to sound ironic. What’s wrong with retirement? Is this what it takes to keep Brolin in mink and diamonds? That’s not love, Babs. That’s not love.
