The latest set of deals for new TV pilots includes several shows featuring stars you haven’t seen on TV in a while. Which one sounds most promising to you?

A. Ray‘s Regina King (pictured) and NYPD Blue alumna Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon are joining The Practice‘s Kelli Williams in ABC’s dramedy Women in Law. (Yes, King has been a TV regular on Cartoon Network’s The Boondocks, but only as a voice actor.)

B. Madeleine Stowe (where the heck has she been?) is starring in Fox’s drama Southern Comfort as a woman who takes over her husband’s crime family when he’s imprisoned.

C. Dawson’s Creek‘s James Van Der Beek, who starred in a failed CBS pilot last season, is joining Ally McBeal‘s Jane Krakowski in Sex, Power, Love & Politics, a CBS comedy about Capitol Hill staffers in Washington.

D. And Brad Garrett, whose Everybody Loves Raymond spinoff never materialized, is starring in Til Death, a Fox comedy from the creators of The King of Queens, in which he’ll play a long-married husband whose new neighbors are a newlywed couple (the young husband is American Pie‘s Eddie Kaye Thomas).

Which of these long-absent stars would you most like to see again? And which of these shows sounds the most promising?
