Let me just get this out of the way: I’m one of the few Grey’s Anatomy fans who actually like the titular Meredith Grey (a character named by EW’s own Gillian Flynn as the worst thing on the small screen in 2005). Okay, I’m not going to argue Meredith isn’t a little whiny, or that she shouldn’t think about cutting back on the voice-over nonsense, or that she might not want to consider occasionally substituting her McDreamy fetish with a calorie-laden McGriddle, but for the most part, she doesn’t bother me. That is, until she went and broke George’s heart last night. Ohnoshedidn’t! Ohnoshecouldn’t

And now, with Ellen Pompeo, the woman who plays Meredith, letting slip that one of the Seattle Grace doctors (not her) will be exiting the intern program before the season’s end, I might be feeling just a twinge of hateration this morning. What do you think, PopWatchers? Do you hate to love Meredith Grey? Love to hate her? Or are you, like me, still trying to figure out how to feel about her? Express yourselves!
