'Grey's Anatomy': An explosive episode!

Did you like last night’s Grey’s Anatomy? (Judging by the comments at Tim Stack’s TV Watch column, most of you thought it was terrific.) If you did, you’ll want to check out what series creator Shonda Rhimes has to say about the episode on the show’s Grey Matter blog. Normally, I find writers and artists less than trustworthy in explaining their intentions, but Rhimes has some instructive and fascinating things to say, particularly about the practical difficulties in translating last night’s goriest moment from the page to the screen. She also offers, for those who want to see Meredith and McDreamy become a real couple, a faint glimmer of hope.
