Compared with last fall’s other celebrity memoirists, Billy Crystal looks downright mahvelous. According to Nielsen BookScan, which tracks sales at 7,000-plus outlets nationwide, 700 Sundays sold 174,000 copies through Jan. 22. Still, he was summarily schooled by Frank McCourt, whose Teacher Man has moved 454,000 copies.
