Fashion Week: Amy Adams and Marcia Gay Harden
STARRY BLIGHT Carolina Herrera’s red-carpet BFF Renee Zellwegger wasn’t there, but freshly Academy-anointed Amy Adams was front and center at the runway show at the Bryant Park Tent. Could the Junebug star be scouting for a possible Oscar dress? Otherwise, the show’s attendees were relatively low-wattage: Ivanka Trump and Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss.

SUPPORT GROUP Marcia Gay Harden bucked convention by wearing– clutch the pearls! — another designer to the Jill Stuartpresentation at the New York Public Library. We give Harden props forstopping the costume-change-before-every-show madness. Unfortunately, two people had no choice but to display their labels: Natalie Glebova(Miss Universe) and Chelsea Cooley (Miss USA), whose gaudy sashesclashed with their fashionable ensembles.
MAKER’S MARC True to form, Jacobs fed the hype for his runwayshow by starting almost two hours late for his 8 p.m. presentation atthe Lexington Armory, ensuring that the fashion flock was clamoring toget in. (Or maybe it was the PETA protesters bellowing at those waitingto enter?) In any case, Jacobs’ celeb supporters must’ve been tippedoff to the delayed start, as the likes of Naomi Campbell, SerenaWilliams, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, and Winona Ryder (pictured with, from left to right, an unidentified guest, Anna Sui, Zoe Cassavetes, and Sofia Coppola) sashayed injust in time.
