This odd video is growing on me, like moss. Fiona Apple’s clip for ”Not About Love,” which premiered recently on AOL Music, features the waifish singer frolicking with burly, shaggy-bearded comedian Zach Galifianakis, who lip-synchs the entire song while Apple remains tight-lipped. Once you get past the jarring incongruity of this act of ventriloquism, the video develops a goofy, offhand charm that complements the start-stop rhythms of the song. Apple and Galifianakis have strange senses of humor, but they look like they’d be a fun pair to hang out with on a lazy L.A. afternoon.

How would you rate this video, PopWatchers? Better than Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al”?
