My addiction to 120 Minutes in the early ’90s lead to many great discoveries, most memorably the shoe-gazer darlings of Lush. I was crushed when they broke up, but lucky for me, Emma Anderson continued on with Sing-Sing, her current group with Lisa O’Neill, who has provided vocals for Mad Professor and Locust. Their lounge-y Brit-pop is the perfect accompaniment to after-work pub drinking. Check out their addictive single, “Lover” — from their new album Sing-Sing and I (hits stores Feb. 14).
