Remember that teen pop-rocker whose debut hit included the lyrics, ”You’re makin me laugh out/ When you strike a pose/ Take off all your preppy clothes/ You know you’re not foolin anyone.” Well, now it appears the now-21-year-old songbird has eschewed her grungy duds for a glam new look (scroll down), courtesy of Harper’s Bazaar. She’s all growed up, yo!

Not that a person shouldn’t be allowed to adopt a more mature style as they get older, but to borrow a bit of dialogue from an old AbFab episode, “Avril Lavigne, movie star? I’ll be the judge of that!”
