Little pink haunted houses, for you and me: Playbill reports that John Mellencamp and Stephen King have been working on a musical, The Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, about a father who takes his grown sons to a vacation cabin where his own brothers had killed each other. Sounds creepy, but give Mellencamp credit for inching toward Broadway with new material, rather than coasting on his back catalog. As for King, let’s hope he has better luck than he did with the notorious musical flop adapted from his Carrie.
