If there’s one thing I love about the ’80s dance-rock revival, it’s discovering bands like Burnside Project. Instead of turning out a generic piece off hipster fluff (I won’t name names), it’s obvious they did their homework, mixing the best parts of Book of Love, New Order, and The Cure with their own signature sound to create The Finest Example is You. It’s an apt title, since their songs are great examples of where indie rock should be headed. Check out ”And So It Goes” — it’s just perfect.
