TV Barn pays tribute to the Trio channel, which left the airwaves Jan. 1 but is chugging along on the Internet as Trio Plus. As the article notes, there’s not a whole lot happening on the site right now, but wouldn’t it be groovy if the ”Brilliant But Cancelled” section was expanded to include whole episodes of such gems as Bebe Neuwirth’s Dear Diary, the short-lived Hollywood spoof Action, or the howlingly funny Beat Cops? All of those shows found a second life during Trio’s cable incarnation; shouldn’t they live on under the network’s web banner, too? For good measure, I’d love to see Trio Plus stream a couple of other long-forgotten series, like Aliens in the Family and Kindred: The Embraced. What old shows would you like to see get resurrected on the site?
