The shortest short-film contest ever
Some 65 million Americans own cellphones that can shoot video, technology analyst Roger Entner tells the Associated Press. So that’s a lot of potential entrants into Ithaca College’s CellFlix Festival. Entrants must submit by Jan. 10 a 30-second film shot on a cellphone. If you win, you get $5,000, though maybe you can get them to pay you in anytime minutes.
What say you, PopWatchers? Is this a gimmick, or is it the future of filmmaking? Or, tell us about your favorite moment you captured on cellphone video.
