Yes — in round 8 of our prediction game, another pop-culturegenius earned a perfect score — but before I get to that, I want to talk aboutBen Travers. While I was sitting around wonderingif Ben is a relative of Mary in Peter, Paul, and Mary, he followed up his perfect score last week with a near-perfect one this week (missed a single question), making him the first personto appear twice on our list of top players. Hey, Ben. Make the list next week, and you’ll be our all-time best player so far.

Of course, Mr. Travers — just like the racehorse Stewballin that really old Peter, Paul, and Mary song — doesn’t quite qualify for thebig prize. Nope, that honor is reserved for players who get a perfect score, likeTommy Cook. As this week’s only winner,Tommy even predicted the exact take for Narniaduring its first week ($66 million). Onemore win and he could get served a $50 gift certificate, unless one of lastweek’s winners comes back to steal it from him.

By the way, guessing Narnia‘stake proved to be the question that tripped up the most contestants in round 8. Another tricky item: The movie at #2 on the charts (“Syriana”)wasn’t on our list of options. So thecorrect answer was “None of the Above,” a choice that many of youseem hesitant to select. Though we aren’t planning to pull that trick again inthis week’s game (round 10), you never know what might happen — but you’ve got to enter by 3 p.m. on Thursday if you want to win it.

Get the list of top players and the correct answers forround 8 after the jump.

Players who missed only one question:
