There are 10 films jockeying for three nominations this year in Oscar’s Best Animated Feature category. The list, announced today, includes everything you’d expect, including Chicken Little, Howl’s Moving Castle, Madagascar, Robots, Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (left), and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. In fact, I don’t see any worthy omissions, but maybe sharper-eyed readers will.

Which of these will ultimately win the trophy? (I’d like to see it go to Howl, but I suspect that either Oscar favorite Nick Park will take home another trophy for Were-Rabbit, or else Madagascar will win through sheer force of box office strength.)
