We won’t get to see OutKast’s movie musical Idlewild until sometime in 2006, but the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly has the first pictures from the set of the film, in which Andre 3000 and Big Boi play 1930s nightclub entertainers trying to keep a gangster (Terence Howard) from muscling in on their club. The stylish-looking stills include photos of a production number with Andre 3000 (above left) and Big Boi cavorting with chorus girls (above right). ”It’s an OutKast album in visual form,” Big Boi tells EW’s Missy Schwartz.

Sounds great — how does it look to you, PopWatchers?
