Might 'Arrested Development' be saved?

Fox may have given up on Arrested Development (and, to be fair, they hung in there a lot longer than the ratings warranted, Emmys or no Emmys), but might another outlet pick it up? The San Francisco Chronicle reports a rumor that Showtime could rescue the series, perhaps pairing it with Weeds.

Would that work for you, PopWatchers? Or do you have better ideas for how to prop up the Bluths’ banana stand?
