Sean Connery gets life achievement award
Connery. Sean Connery.
That’s who’ll be getting a life achievement award from the American Film Institute on June 8 in Los Angeles. And while the Scottish actor will always be best-known for playing James Bond in six films from 1962 to 1971, he’s pretty riveting in 1987’s The Untouchables, too. (Add it to your Netflix list, if you don’t believe me.) Still, for me, I’m grateful to Mr. Connery for inspiring moments of pure hilarity on SNL‘s ”Celebrity Jeopardy.” I’ll take ”Where are you?” for $100, please.
