-Scarlett Johansson will play a Xena-type warrior in Amazon, based on an idea she pitched to screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci when they worked on The Island. Is this her unofficial audition for Wonder Woman?

-Is Ben Stiller in danger of turning into Steve Martin or Robin Williams? His next movie is a big-budget, Jumanji-esque, family-friendly comedy spectacle, A Night at the Museum, in which Stiller plays a security guard at a natural history museum who unwittingly activates a curse that brings to life all the creatures on display. Directing will be Shawn Levy, who directed Martin in Cheaper by the Dozen and the upcoming Pink Panther.

-Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in a third Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Afterlife. Also, Jovovich will star with Kevin Kline in Welcome to America, a drama about sex trafficking. Didn’t Mira Sorvino just tackle this topic on Lifetime? Sex trafficking is hot!

-Benjamin McKenzie is joining the cast of 88 Minutes, the thriller where Al Pacino and Alicia Witt play lovers — ew, that still creeps me out. Pacino is a professor who believes he’s targeted for death in less than an hour and a half; the O.C. star will play one of his grad students and a potential suspect.

-David Schwimmer joins Shaun of the Dead‘s Simon Pegg in the blackmail comedy Big Nothing. Insert joke here about Schwimmer’s movie career to date.

-Val Kilmer and Alicia Silverstone never got to make a Bat-movie together, but they’ll be costarring in the international thriller Moscow Zero, along with Vincent Gallo. Here, Kilmer and Silverstone trade in the Batcave for the catacombs beneath Moscow, where much of the film will take place.
