See Springsteen perform live for free

Well, for five minutes, anyway. In conjunction with the Nov. 15 release of the 30th anniversary edition of Born To Run (and the accompanying DVD of a 1975 London concert by the E Street Band), Amazon.com is streaming a clip from the DVD, in which Bruce Springsteen and the band perform the song ”Born to Run.” (Also part of the boxed set is Wings for Wheels: The Making of Born to Run; customers who place pre-orders get instant access to an 18-minute stream from the documentary.) The concert clip will be available for the next week; it’s a blistering performance, though I wonder if anyone can tell me why Bruce, Clarence, and the rest of the band are wearing funny hats. Guess you had to be there.
