At times Takk almost rocks — as much as tiny ice-crystal elves from the magical land of Narnia can rock, but still. Anyhow, the thundering majesty of harder tracks (”Saeglopur,” ”Glósóli”) finds its strings-laden counterpart in the swooning slo-mo abstraction that makes up the bulk of the disc; and once again, all is right with the world.
