Hot new movie trailers for you:

Brokeback Mountain (Dec. 9) Two hunky cowboys (Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal), some ropin’ and ridin’, and lots of hugging. What’s not to like?

Casanova (Dec. 25) ”True love is worth the wait,” says Voiceover Guy. Leave it to Disney to turn a film about Casanova into a monogamous love story. As the foppishly-dressed title character, Heath Ledger tries manfully to do a heterosexual about-face from Brokeback Mountain, while Sienna Miller inspires some unintended snickers by pleading, ”Oh, give me a man who is man enough to give himself just to the woman who is worth him.”

Bee Season (Nov. 11) Co-directors Scott McGehee and David Siegel don’t make cozy movies; they make thorny, cerebral dramas like The Deep End and Suture. But based on this clip, this McGehee-Siegel film looks like a fairly standard family-with-issues drama. I’m not really ready to watch stars as sexy as Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche play warm, cuddly parents. Let’s hope the directors can bring some of their trademark strangeness to this film, which otherwise looks as surprising as a warm bath.
