Pamela Anderson shares her new novel
The star of Stacked is not just a fictional bookstore employee, she’s also on the fiction shelf herself. If you laughed at Bea Arthur reading from Pamela Anderson’s new novel Star Struck at Comedy Central’s recent roast of Anderson, you should read the lengthy excerpt of Anderson’s comic tour-de-force forwarded to PopWatch by Pam’s publicist. Unfortunately, most of it is too R-rated for us to print, but suffice it to say that the excerpt’s account of a model/actress named Star and her whirlwind courtship with a rocker named Jimi that leads to a marriage proposal two days after they meet on a Mexican beach will seem very familiar to Pamologists. (You can read a more detailed synopsis here.) The book, which Atria Publishing inexplicably waited until the end of beach season to release, is the second volume in Anderson’s ongoing roman à clef; here’s what she told EW last year when she released the first installment, simply called Star.
