LeBlanc's 'Joey' needs a sidekick
With Joey facing off against not only The O.C. and Survivor: Guatemala next fall, but also new timeslot occupants Alias, Smallville, and Everybody Hates Chris, it looks like NBC’s calling in a little reinforcement for Matt LeBlanc’s dim title character.
But is a thirtysomething aspiring actor named Zach (as NBC’s casting call describes him) the answer to Joey‘s creative (and ratings) woes?
My guess is it’s all in the casting. I’d screen-test David Arquette, the always amusing Michael C. Hall (hey, he’ll be free now that Six Feet Under‘s wrapping), and maybe Wonderfalls‘ Lee Pace.
On the flip side, please, no David Spade.
Which actor do you think could help shore up Joey?
