Skip the summer blockbusters, and go see Me and You and Everyone We Know, one of the most stunning independent films of the year. Me and You tells the intersecting stories of a little girl who collects home goods (towels, a blender, a shower curtain), the young brothers who engage in online sex chat, and an awkward, charming artist (played by writer-director Miranda July). Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Wonderfalls) composed the melancholic soundtrack, which complements the inner turmoils of the characters. Praise the folks at Everloving Records for streaming the entire album.
