Well, at least they are in Texas. In what may be the year’s most heartening trend story, drive-in theater construction is up, especially in the Lone Star State, according to the Houston Chronicle. This is good news because so many of the things moviegoers complain about at the multiplex — high ticket prices, noisy patrons, expensive food, uncomfortable chairs, parking hassles — aren’t problems at the drive-in. Plus, they have funnel cakes! I’d take those over nachos any day. Now, if I only had a car…
