The Stealth Soundtrack is an intermittently appealing grab bag featuring three strong new tracks from melodic rockers Incubus (with Chrissie Hynde guesting on one); a taste of ex-Bush man Gavin Rossdale’s new streamlined grunge project Institute; a bemusingly faithful cover of the Moody Blues’ ”Nights in White Satin” by former Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes, along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and John Frusciante; and David Bowie getting funky with BT. ‘Tain’t bad — although we say ixnay to will.i.am’s annoying rap remix of Sly & the Family Stone’s ”Dance to the Music.”
