One pope to rule them all...

Ian Holm, who has some experience with rings of power, will play Pope John Paul II in CBS’ biopic miniseries about the late pontiff, due in November. The erstwhile hobbit will play John Paul during his papal years; no word yet on who will play the young Karol Wojtyla, but maybe Elijah Wood is available.
